WoW's Armor Design

I have no idea what Blizzard gets their idea on creating designs for the armors. The Tier 7 and 7.5 set aren't so bad. I just have to rant this one...

When I first got my Conqueror's Worldbreaker Kilt and wore them, it made me think. The "kilt" doesn't look like a kilt at all. *See screenshot on the right*

But I'm glad that doesn't look like a "dress" as my boyfriend would call it. Wearing something that looks like a "dress" automatically makes you a target in the Battle grounds. Most of the time, it registers to some players: "Oh! Clothie! Kill it!". Even if you're wearing mail armors.

Earlier today from the guild's 25man Ulduar raid, I got my chest piece - A Conqueror's Worldbreaker Hauberk off from Hodir. It's a Hauberk but why does it look more like a robe? *See screenshot on the left*

I guess, Blizzard made a mistake on creating the 3d model for the kilt so they corrected it when you get the chest?

Here's an image which I combined the two armor without the robe. Doesn't it look much better? I like the looks of the pants way better than having a robe.

The Cracked Egg

My only reason for doing the daily quests for The Oracles is because of the Green proto-drake inside a Mysterious Egg as my friend, Yvannah, mentioned it to me a few months ago. I did not make it a habit to do the daily quests there but only when I have time to do so. I did some research in wowhead.com and saw that it only has a 2% chance of dropping. Two percent?! I managed to convince myself that at least it's a whole number instead of a 0.7 or 0.1 at that matter.

For two months, I did the three dailies not knowingly I can already buy the Mysterious Egg when I reached my reputation to revered. A week ago, I thought why not check their Quartermaster, Geen. I bought the egg as quick as I could right click it. I placed the egg at the last slot of my last bag so that I could not sell it by mistake and could see how many days left until I can open it.

A week pass by and I hardly notice the egg became a Cracked Egg. Yesterday, around noon Yvannah and I were talking through chat via Facebook and the topic was about the Green proto-drake. He told me that he already wasted more than a hundred egg and still didn't get the mount. I began to think that my chances would be of the same fate.

Last night, I was at Azuremyst Isle following Yvannah around as he does his quest. I was looking at my bags and arranging my loots to give space so I can get him some items to help him level. Walking around, I saw the egg and opened it.

Yvannah and I suddenly stopped and said "OMG".

It dropped! On my first egg.. it dropped! a Green proto-drake from the oracle egg!

Yvannah, you are my luck rabbit's foot! <3

Sunday

LOG: 10man Ulduar 05.30.09

This is the second time that I used the Salvaged Chopper. Over vent we were joking about how fun it was the first time we went inside Ulduar in 25 man. As one of my guildmate said and I quote, "Oh my gawd! I'm in a siege! I'm in a siege." Then after doing it a couple of times in the past few months I'm already thinking, "meh, my fingers hurt." None the less, Ulduar is still the best instance I've every encountered. You can't just dps all the way to the end, there are a lot of things you need to keep in mind.

Ridding a Salvage Chopper looks and I'd say, "yes!" You just have to know how to swerve and where to place your oils leak on the road.

Tip: Remember to wear your highest gear since it will be the basis of your vehicle's damage.

10 man Ulduar: Siege in Hard mode. Achievement: Orbital Bombardment. Defeat Flame Leviathan with at least 1 Orbital Defense System active on Normal Difficulty.

After the first boss, we did XT-002 Deconstructor; then Razorscale - one of the easiest boss (in my opinion); then Ignis the Furnace Master; then Assembly of Iron.

Remember to bring your Iron Boot Flask to get the Achievement. Use the flask when you start killing the last boss. He's the smallest one. This is also the first time that I've become an off-tank healer and I'm proud to say that I did good. You also need someone to cancel out this chain lighting from Stormcaller Brundir to reduce the damage on the raid party. We finished him with three healers and two warrior tanks.

Our last boss for tonight was Kologarn.

WIP: Human Paladin

Continuing on sketching the the details of the armor of one of my commissioned artwork.

The Mystics guild

Introductions

I'm a full-time web designer and part-time online gamer. I played so many MMORPGs since 2001 as a means to release some stress at home and from work. I decided to play World of Warcraft last Aug 1, 2008. So, I'm fairly new to the game.
